My life is busy. Doesn’t it seem that everyone is busier everyday? My life as a work at home mom helps me to really enjoy those days when the pace is just a bit slower. Those days that I have to trudge into the real office are long and BUSY. I’m hoping that reflecting on my life through blogging will help me to savor the life I have now and to joyfully anticipate all that is to come in the future. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother, an accountant, a scrapbooker, a dieter, a clerk, a daughter, a twin, a friend, and hopefully not often, an enemy. I’m smart and often sassy. I usually speak before thinking things through, but I have a good friend who often tells me that I’m wise. I guess I’ll keep her around for another few years. My husband tells me I’m beautiful and I often believe him. I think I’ll keep him around forever. My kids love me unconditionally-but they’re young and so it is easy. I could drown in their hugs and kisses, their chocolate ice cream faces and their incredible ability to make any gray day bright with sunshine. My boss likes to keep giving me more work. Thankfully what I’m working on now is new and challenging so I think it is more fun than work. I like hiding out in my home office. It is my haven, my escape. I crave time with my twin. She understands me before I even speak. I’m working on living life out loud but I’m having a hard time putting myself “out there.” I’m not even sure what that means except to say that I’m a work in progress.
